British Riding Clubs and Interdressage have formed two new Leagues, that will be available from May 2010 online here at
www.interdressage.com and will be included in the monthly Interdressage schedule of events.
The leagues will run from May 2011 to April 2012. They have been designed to encourage more
riding club and riding club centre members to 'give dressage a go' by making it possible for you to ride your tests in a relaxed manner from the comfort of familiar surroundings.
Check out the monthly schedule ('schedule and entry form') and choose from any of the 'dressage' or 'style and performance' classes and compete for points and prizes for your club and yourself!
The BRC Leagues will be divided into 2 sections - one for BRC Riding Club Members and one for BRC Riding Club Centre Members.
The Leagues will run for a full year, with the leading Riding Club and Riding Club Centre each receiving a fabulous prize for their Club or Centre (2011/12 prize to be confirmed).
The leading horse/pony and rider combination, in each division will also an additional prize (2011/12 to be confirmed).
In addition to this, in recognition of all their hard work, the Instructors from both sections will also be awarded with a prize (2011/12 prize to be confirmed).
Competitors in both sections will automatically be entered into the monthly Interdressage competitions and have the chance to compete against riders worldwide.
The tests just need to be videoed and submitted to Interdressage for judging. All tests will be judged by BD listed judges and BRC accredited judges with helpful advice and feedback from professional instructors.
All that is required is a level surface with markers and someone to video your test.
There is no need to register your club but please ask all members to state the name of their riding club clearly on their entry forms.
