Meet our instructors and judges.
Karina Hawkridge Karina and her husband have run their own successful business for 20 years, breaking in, schooling and selling
all types of horses and ponies. Karina is also a freelance instructor working regularly for the pony club where she trains the junior and novice show jumping teams, as well as instructing her regular clients. Karina
has competed nationally on graded show jumpers and has produced young show jumpers. She has groomed for, and schooled international show jumpers. She also trains junior dressage riders. Karina and her husband Steve
love the challenge of re schooling horses that have developed behavioural problems. They find it rewarding regaining an animal’s trust and seeing it go off and lead a productive life. Karina will help you all she
can with any problem you may encounter and will always offer practical and professional advice whatever standard you are at.
Glynis Mills. Glynis is a British Dressage listed judge, who has also competed successfully up to and including advanced level
dressage. Horses have been her life for too many years to count!! She has trained with top international dressage riders and judges and has produced all her ponies along classical dressage lines. Glynis is a trained
equine artist by profession and has studied horse anatomy extensively. It is because of this incredible eye for detail and in depth knowledge of how the horse works anatomically, that she is such a perfectionist.
She is able to tell you instantly where a deep rooted problem might lie and will offer practical solutions for any kind of riding problem you might be encountering. She will also offer advice on presentation of you
and your horse so that you will stand out from the crowd.
