Christmas Special Style Test for Dogs

To be performed in an arena approximately 10m x 20m (or a suitable size for your pooch)

The arena to be marked out the same as a dressage arena.

All obstacles to be built suitably sized for your dog.

May be performed ?on the lead? but may incur a penalty.

Will be judged on accuracy, style and obedience with bonus points for the most impressive ?trick of choice? at the end of the test.

1	A enter at walk to heel. X halt and sit (just your dog!) Proceed in’ jog to heel’.	10
2	C track left in ‘jog to heel.’ H X F change the rein ‘extended’ trot F working jog	10
3	Just before A turn and ‘bend’ in and out of cones/buckets/ bending poles.	10
4	After last bending pole turn left and jump fence number 1 from ‘trot’ or ‘canter’	10
5	Jump up onto ‘pause’ table (dog only!!) and ‘sit and stay’ for 6 seconds. Jump down off ‘pause’ table.	10
6	At F pick up ball/ glove etc and ‘carry’ to B and ‘drop!!	10
7	Proceed to fence 2 and jump from trot or canter.	10
8	On landing circle right 5m diameter and proceed to jump fence 3	10
9	E turn left and halt on centre line sideways on to judge at C. Sit for 4 seconds then lie down for 4 seconds proceed in walk to heel	10
10	B track right to A in walk to heel	10
11	A down centre line and three quarters the way down centre line halt and perform ‘trick of choice’ (just your dog!!) Leave arena at C	10
