| Poles measuring no more than 10ft long would be best for a 20mx40m arena. Please make sure you wear correctly fitting boots, hat and stirrups and where necessary a back protector. Can be ridden in any tack. |
| Fence 1 positioned on the change of rein from M to K, between X and K as near to X as possible without obscuring the centre line or the landing of fence 4. Should be a cross pole measuring no more than 65cm to top of X. |
| Fence 2 positioned on the change of rein from F to H between F and X as close to X as possible without obscuring the centre line or the landing of fence 3. Should be a vertical measuring no more than approx. 75cm. |
| Fence 3 positioned approx.1m in from the track at B. Should be an ascending parallel measuring no more than 80cm. |
| Fence 4 positioned approx 1m in from the track at E should be a vertical measuring no more than 85cm. |
