Well its been over a week since Karina's suggestions and its going really, really well.
Infact we have hardly been in the areana at all, and when we have it has been after I have been for a hack, and ive asked him for a little canter along the straight side. Not perfect but were getting there. 
Ive done a little schooling out hacking and now he is getting the idea, on short trots in the stubble he is working rounder without me even asking . Many Thanks Karina for your suggestions.
